Tool palette with elements

NoxymoCore Framework provides you with a palette for WebObjects Builder. This is one further step to push your productivity ahead, most often used elements/components of the framework are available via this palette.

It's just drag'n drop and one of the second best kept secrets of the WebObjects CASE-Tool suite. See the following screenshot below how this looks like under WO 5.3 WebObjects Builder Tool.

Free downloads for the framework

The NoxymoCore Framework itself is only downloadable if you have either bought the full deployment license or you have bought the development license. Here you can download all other files for free.

If you want to get access to the framework itself buy a license for development or deployment. You can easily start with a development-license available in the webshop.

The installation of the framework is very simple. The installation itself comes with a Mac OS X standard installation package for the Mac OS X Installer Application. This ensures consistent version-management and installation-quality. You will be ready for development/deployment in very short time. This installation is described here for your convenience.

Step 1

You download the framework from the link we sent to you by email.

Step 2

You open the .dmg-archive you downloaded by double-clicking on it to mount it.

Step 3

Now doubleclick on the installation-package symbol you find in the mounted archive to start the installation with the Mac OS X installer app

All files and additional frameworks get installed for you. As soon as you compile and run the first application which is based upon NoxymoCore you will be asked for the license-key (see graphics below this text). The key is then installed through a normal browser-window of your freshly created and running web-application. As soon as the window returns with green color your license is valid and installed. From now on you can use the framework with any application.

v1.0 - 31th January 2006

• Release 1.0 is not the usual 1.0 in that you may experience rough edges. It's also no beta like nearly all google-services ;-)
  This release is a mature and quality assured release which is released after intensive testing. We are nevertheless prepared to react if there may occur things which are not of "well defined behaviour" in our framework.
• The Framework and the DemoApp is developed and tested under xCode 2.1 with the WebObjects 5.2.x Release and should run also on newer versions of Webobjects. It is qualified for all Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server machines. It was not tested yet under Windows or Linux, because we are unable to support these systems at this point of time.
• The release sports many completely new things also called "the missing webobjects components". You will get revolutionary new functionality all over the place. WebObjects alone is a very powerful technology, but this framework is designed to ignite a further booster-rocket for your development productivity.

With the NoxymoCore Framework your development time can be reduced radically. At the same time your overall product quality rises profiting from all the builtin features NoxymoCore provides to your app. People who developed applications with NoxymoCore gain a certain style (e.g. graphically) and quality (e.g. tested stability) in their products. Virtual University of Bavaria, Germany

The Virtual University of Bavaria (VHB) is using the virtual learning environment EverLearn which is built completely in WebObjects and completely upon NoxymoCore. The application is used by several thousend students each year for studying online.

University of Bremen, Germany

This is an application which is used at the University of Bremen for managing publications of a professor. You can add and delete new entries and the public can search for and download files using this NoxymoCore based application.
